For those of us used to living in the desert that is Arizona and Nevada, scorching summers are nothing new. But it doesn’t mean we aren’t ready for it to be over already! It’s about that time when we start seeing posts on Facebook about frying eggs on sidewalks and photos of drivers wearing oven mitts. These three-digit temperatures leave us wondering if we could bake cookies on the dash of our parked cars and trying to stay cool on what feels like the surface of the sun becomes more and more important.
Knowing where your closest Urgent Care Extra clinic is located is a great first step in combating the dangers of the summer heat but we wanted to give some fun ideas to keep cool too. You can battle the summer heat by cooling off in a public swimming pool near you! They are cheap, have swim lessons, and offer a cool relief from the heat. Check out the links below to find the closet one near you; and check out our site for the services we offered at Urgent Care Extra. Be safe and stay cool and don’t forget the sunscreen!
